What is the implied warranty of habitability? Please analyze Bill and Ted’s plight in light of the implied warranty of habitability.

Bill and Ted have come to your office to find out what remedy they can seek. Bill and Ted contacted the landlord and asked that the water boiler be repaired. Subsequently, the water pipes froze and as a result Bill and Ted were left without water. As the snow fell, the water boiler in the basement broke down. The seasons changed and summer turned to fall, and the temperatures fell to the low thirties and twenties. Eventually, Bill and Ted stayed with friends until the air conditioning unit was replaced. Bill and Ted asked the landlord to provide fans, but the landlord never responded to their repeated requests. As the weather worsened, Bill and Ted were notified by the superintendant that the central air conditioning unit was to be replaced and they’d be without air for one week. In the summer, temperatures soared above one hundred degrees. They have rented an apartment together in a two story brownstone located near campus, and they paid the landlord a security deposit and the last month’s rent. Both images in the video take the brain scan labelled “B” in the article have overwritten it with color for supposed brain activity.Question Bill and Ted are students at the New York University. The video includes images of brain scans (visible at 3:13 youtu.be/jRg41D8SOq0?t=193 ). Posts on Metabunk’s forum ( here ) place the images of the brain scans as coming from a 2010 case article on titled “A case of confusion and bilateral temporal lesions in a young woman” ( here ).

Since at least 2011, the video has been subject to scrutiny over its origins and creation on many online forums providing different theories (examples here and here ). Some point to awkward lip syncing or tones of voice, others to the large font used for the date and timestamps, and some hint the men in the video may be actors (at the very end the speaker looks straight at the camera awkwardly). The video may have been inspired by the book “The God Gene: How Faith Is Hardwired into Our Genes” by Dr Dean Hamer ( here ). The book discusses how “a variation in the VMAT2 gene plays a role in one's openness to spiritual experiences” ( here, here ). A study on VMAT2 interacting with drugs is visible here, while another on VMAT2 in neuropsychiatric disorders is visible here. VMAT2 is the scientific name for “Vesicular monoamine transporter 2”, a protein that carries neurotransmitters such as dopamine, encoded in humans by the SLC18A2 gene ( here ).
